You never actually own the planet. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Founder's note

"Detrash is a passion project. I love watches, but find most of them boring, and the ones that are even vaguely fun can be eye wateringly expensive (£200k - over £1m for a Richard Mille with a smiley face!). In 2023 I sold my first business and this gave me some time to look at watches properly. The main thing that amazed me was that unlike FMCG (my last business) very few companies are even trying to do anything ethical. It feels like every other industry is switching to have more of a purpose and do some good in the world, and the watch world isn't even trying. This is a massive shame, but together we can fix this" Guy Blaskey, Founder

  • Have fun. Do Good.

This is a mantra for life and for watches. The watches are obviously good, and they do good. They're fun to design and designed to have fun wearing.

  • Roger's Cut

Roger Federer gets about $8 for each Rolex sold. That's crazy. We're here to support charities, not celebrities... although very happy to take celebrities' cash.

  • Developed in Dorset

Detrash is Developed in Dorset, one of the most beautiful parts of the UK, surrounded by the sea and by nature. It inspires us to do right by the planet.

Make Trash Desirable

We're all great at recycling now, but if we don't start making products and valuing "from recycled" what's the point? We want to 'Make Trash Desirable' so more gets recycled and we help save the planet's resources.

Detrash is the first watch brand outside the US (to the best of our knowledge) to sign up for 1 Percent for the Planet, an independent organisation who ensure we give at least 1% of sales to Planetary causes. To start with Detrash has chosen Surfers Against Sewage as our chairty partner... simply because we love the work they are doing and we love the ocean.
