Named in honour of the Lemania watches of the 50's. The goal is to combine their classic style with some modern bulk and everyday wearability.
A 41mm dive watch made with 80% recycled steel, on an ocean-plastic strap, with a Seiko NH35 automatic movement, 200m water resistance and sapphire crystal. Each watch is limited to around 100 pieces, individually numbered and at least 1% of turnover goes to help the planet.

Never change the date on any mechanical watch between 9pm and 3am.
This is when the mechanism is changing the date. If you desperately need to change the date at that time of day, change the time on your watch to 6:30 first, then set the date, then set the time again.
Note: Unscrew the crown to get to 'normal position'. Screw back in after adjustment/winding.
1.How to set the time
1) Pull out the crown to the second click position.
2) Turn the crown to set hour and minute hands. (Check that AM / PM is set correctly)
3) Push the crown back into the normal position.
2.How to set the Date & Time difference
1) Pull out the crown to the first click position.
2) Turn the crown to left for date setting.
3) Push the crown back into the normal position.
3.To wind up the mainspring
a) Manual winding (Rotate the crown clockwise at normal position) Fully wound up by turning the crown minimum 55 times. It will start to move naturally after shaking slightly.

International orders have free shipping. You are responsible for all local customs charges, taxes etc.
Orders will be shipped within approximately 3 days.
US/ Canada orders have histprically taken about 3-4 weeks to arrive.
For returns; first contact detrash@detrash.com to make us aware of the return. Returns must be sent within 14 days of receipt and must be returned exactly as they were sent, unworn, with all stickers in place.

I came across Detrash a couple of months back and whilst the ethos and message behind the watches - not to mention the style & design - impressed me, I really didn't need another watch. However, there was something about the Player One model that just resonated with me. It reminded me of something and kept beckoning me back to the website. Maybe it was reminiscing about the hours spent playing the Space Invaders arcade game in my local pub in my youth, trying to beat / achieve the highest scrore. Anyway, I ummed and aarhed for a bit before finally 'pushing the button' having received a gentle 'nudge' from Detrash when I left the item in my basket but hadn't checked out. I'm glad I did and am very happy with the watch. It's the first in my (albeit small) collection with a black PVD coating to the case and I was concerned that it might be easily scratched, but I have to admit the standard of finish is much better than I had imagined, particularly given the price point. All in all a great addition and one that I will definitely wear regularly. Oh.... and I figured out what the Player One reminded me of. See if you can spot it in the attached photo of the Player One alongside my Mr Jones Ricochet.
I love everything about this watch.
The style, that attracted me to it in the first place, is even better in real life. The weight and quality of the watch. To top it all off the feel good factor from what its made of.

Great watch, well made, great spec, looks and feels great and being 1 of 100, it is a watch that not many other people will get to own.
It would be an overstatement to say I collect watches but I do have more than a few. A small sprinkling of luxury watches; some fashion watches that I think look great; and some that are part of - or have - a story. The Detrash watch falls into the last group and I love talking about its green credentials. It’s a fun watch which doesn’t take itself too seriously, yet comes with a hopeful message about the art of the possible and how we can make better use of our limited resources. I bought the likenania because I had nothing like it in my collection in terms colours on the face. It’s lovely and I was surprised by the packaging which was well designed and eco friendly of course, and a far cry from the gubbins that come with some watches, but nevertheless it still felt special and a there was amore than a tinge of excitement as I opened it. There’s a solidity to the case and the strap which accompanies it when it’s on the wrist, and I have enjoyed wearing it. Thank you - what a great product!
Watch is every bit as good as more expensive watches. Looks great, comfortable to wear and at a price point which is reasonable…plus it comes with the knowledge that it utilises a renewed resource. What’s not to like?
I recently bought a Detrash Cali - White watch and I love it. The dial is clean and very legible, not too much lume, but what there is works really well against the white dial, which has very nice subtle texture to it. The rotating bezel has a great fell to it, easy to rotate with positive clicks. The recycles strap is much thicker than I was expecting, for could have done with being a few centimeters longer.

"Detrash is a passion project. I love watches, but find most of them boring, and the ones that are even vaguely fun can be eye wateringly expensive (£200k - over £1m for a Richard Mille with a smiley face!). In 2023 I sold my first business and this gave me some time to look at watches properly. The main thing that amazed me was that unlike FMCG (my last business) very few companies are even trying to do anything ethical. It feels like every other industry is switching to have more of a purpose and do some good in the world, and the watch world isn't even trying.
