Materials

We are constantly striving to improve the materials that we work with.

The first edition watches have:

- Cases made from 80% recycled steel (equivalent to 316L surgical grade stainless steel)

- Straps made from #tide recycled ocean plastic

- Pouch made with offcuts from clothes manufacture.

- Recycled card boxes.

You won't get a big, flashy watch box like you would with some big brands. These just take up space, which means extra transport, which means extra emissions, and they just aren't necessary.

Lovely quality watch

Very happy with my watch, lovely quality and impressed with the concept of recycled sea waste. I really hope the company goes from strength to strength and increases the ratio of its recycled elements of its products. Keep up the good work.

Really excellent quality! The weight is fantastic, and there is a real quality feel. The attention to detail and build quality is very very good and in some aspects beats watches that I own that retail at a far greater price. There is a real premium feel to the whole watch. The additional factors of being sourced from reused materials and being limited to a certain number of pieces just makes it even better.
A job well done!

Well made and finished timepiece

Watches can range from a pennies to fortunes, sometimes because of assumed value, other times due to the workmanship. I feel my detrash watch is good value for money, has a nice design and feel, especially considering the price. I will probably look to add another piece at some point.
