The "Cali - Melting Ice Cap Blue" is a dive watch with a textured, California dial featuring Cliff (our WWII pilot, surfer, globe mascot), an exhibition case back and polished case sides.
Its a 41mm dive watch made with 80% recycled steel, on an ocean-plastic strap, with a Seiko NH35 automatic movement, 200m water resistance and sapphire crystal (front and back). Each watch is limited to 100 individually numbered piece and at least 1% of turnover goes to help the planet.

Never change the date on any mechanical watch between 9pm and 3am.
This is when the mechanism is changing the date. If you desperately need to change the date at that time of day, change the time on your watch to 6:30 first, then set the date, then set the time again.
Note: Unscrew the crown to get to 'normal position'. Screw back in after adjustment/winding.
1.How to set the time
1) Pull out the crown to the second click position.
2) Turn the crown to set hour and minute hands. (Check that AM / PM is set correctly)
3) Push the crown back into the normal position.
2.How to set the Date & Time difference
1) Pull out the crown to the first click position.
2) Turn the crown to left for date setting.
3) Push the crown back into the normal position.
3.To wind up the mainspring
a) Manual winding (Rotate the crown clockwise at normal position) Fully wound up by turning the crown minimum 55 times. It will start to move naturally after shaking slightly.

International orders have free shipping. You are responsible for all local customs charges, taxes etc.
Orders will be shipped within approximately 3 days.
US/ Canada orders have histprically taken about 3-4 weeks to arrive.
For returns; first contact detrash@detrash.com to make us aware of the return. Returns must be sent within 14 days of receipt and must be returned exactly as they were sent, unworn, with all stickers in place.

I am absolutely blown away by this watch!
As someone who is ‘relatively’ new to the watch enthusiasm world, Detrash just so happened to be one of the first brands I came across, I was immediately interested and set my sights on this watch. All of the watches look amazing but this one just appealed to me the most out of the models on offer. Now that I finally have one I must say any expectations I had have been massively exceeded. I’m amazed at the quality that’s been achieved using recycled materials and it looks amazing! 41mm is a great all round case size, the strap is comfortable albeit a little stiff at first but that will no doubt soften over time and I love the open case back and the striking California dial, it leaves you wanting to just look at it for hours on end, as any good looking watch should! I see this becoming an everyday wear for me and I love the message behind the watch and brand. I look forward to seeing what Guy will do with Detrash in the future, in the meantime I will be recommending them to every watch enthusiast I come across. 10/10!

I recently received my cali-white in the mail and I couldn't be happier. It's easy admire the level and detail and craftsmanship that was put into this watch. You can tell the people that made this watch really put in the time and care to make an absolutly badass watch.I only recently heard of DETRASH, but they have quickly become one of my favorite brands. I love this watch and I love the mission behind this brand.

I just recently received my watch in the mail and it was a pretty seamless process even though I live in Qatar.
The watch itself feels solid, with great attention to detail and that vintage look that I was looking for. The clicks on the bezel feel so satisfying and the dial is for sure a conversation starter whenever people in the office look at it. Right now, I use it as my daily watch since it is so easy to read, and it is very comfortable to wear all day thanks to the strap. Looking forward to seeing future releases from the brand.
I've been looking for a California dial watch for a bit, but hadn’t found anything that caught my eye. I then happened to come across the Detrash Cali-White and liked the design. After getting the watch in hand, I was extremely impressed with it. The white textured dial is very striking. The new mascot on the dial adds a fun feel. The watch itself feels high quality in the hand. I was also surprised at the quality of the ocean-plastic strap. Overall I’m very happy with the watch, I love the design & quality of the watch and the ethical values the company supports.

"Detrash is a passion project. I love watches, but find most of them boring, and the ones that are even vaguely fun can be eye wateringly expensive (£200k - over £1m for a Richard Mille with a smiley face!). In 2023 I sold my first business and this gave me some time to look at watches properly. The main thing that amazed me was that unlike FMCG (my last business) very few companies are even trying to do anything ethical. It feels like every other industry is switching to have more of a purpose and do some good in the world, and the watch world isn't even trying.
